Second Internship Blog Post

These past few weeks have not had much of a variation in terms of working on different assignments. The sole focus has been geared towards a very special dinner party. The CEO of Holy Spirit Hospital is retiring. She has lead the hospital as CEO for 26 years. So these past few weeks we've been running around the office trying to make this event perfect. I helped work on seating charts, decorations, name tags, and organizing lists of guests as well as their meal choices. The dinner party was Sunday evening and was a total success with over 400 attendees. I was lucky enough to have been able to be apart of this event considering its significance, but I also had the opportunity to network and meet more people. This week things have slowed down a little now that the stress of the dinner is over. We've been working on setting up new workshop ideas which are information sessions available to the public on multiple health topics. Along with brainstorming ideas, I've been typing up the news releases and informational pamphlets for those. I'm looking forward to see what else they have planned for me. Can't wait to read about what everyone else has been doing in their summer adventures!

  1. Sounds like you are doing great over there! I have been doing work similar to what you have been and it can be overwhelming at times but it really is great to know that you can contribute to such a great company! I can't wait to hear about the rest of your internship and I hope it helps you lead to big things ahead!

  2. That's great that the event turned out to be a success. I'm sure it's a big relief that all the planning and craziness is finally over, way to go!
