Second Blog Post

Since the first blog post, I am still doing about the same things I have been. Because I have been there for about a month now, they are starting to let me do things on my own and pretend as if I am an employee with them. I am still planning large events with my boss and calling around places to tell them more about our company and what we can offer. Planning these events are very helpful because it is a lot of hands on work and it feels good to know that they can have that trust in me to take things on and complete various tasks successfully. I help my boss run reports on other employees, call vendors and set things about between them and us. Last weekend we actually had a dinner with another company that we joined with and they invited some of the staff to be at the kickoff dinner. I was honored that they let me attend with them being as I am just their intern. There turned out to be a couple hundred people that showed up and we even got to connect with them and help expand the company even more! I am more than happy that I have this opportunity this summer and I can't wait to finish off with them!
